In case of negative pressure or vacuum, dust and humidity can be absorbed through the door seal and can enter the enclosure.
As the humidity cannot exit the enclosure condensation may occur.
The easy to install pressure compensation device DA 284 provides the compensation of pressure at a protection degree of IP66.
A semipermeable membrane inside the plug allows air and humidity to leave the enclosure.
In the opposite direction, it only allows dry air into the enclosure while humidity and dust from the outside are blocked by the membrane.
• Bei Schränken und Gehäusen mit einer hohen Schutzart in Bezug auf Feuchtigkeit und Staub, entstehen durch innere und äußere Temperaturschwankungen unterschiedliche Druckverhältnisse.
Bei Unterdruck kann über die Türdichtungen Staub und Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Schrank eingesogen werden.
Dadurch kann sich Kondenswasser bilden, weil die Feuchtigkeit nicht entweichen kann.
Die leicht zu montieren- de Druckausgleich-Verschraubung DA 284 ermöglicht den Druckausgleich bei einer Schutzart von IP66.
Eine semipermeable Membrane sorgt dafür, dass im Schrank befindliche Luft und Feuchtigkeit austreten können.
In der Gegenrichtung wird jedoch nur Luft eingelassen - Feuchtigkeit und Staub werden durch die Membrane abgeblockt.
