Is the server or control cabinet adequately ventilated? How high is the humidity in the server room? No-one is keen about relying on estimated values where expensive hardware operation is concerned and failure would cause immense costs.
Up to now these questions could only be answered reliably by means of expensive and sophisticated measuring technology.
As of now, you have the Infratec RMS 200TH, the future has arrived.
The RMS 200TH permits the logging of up to 4 temperature and 4 humidity values.
Combi-sensors permit the simultaneous logging of both values due to intelligent reports sensors can be located up to 24 m away without device readjustment.
The RMS 200TH features an Ethernet interface and can be linked by it.
It is controlled via an integrated web server that permits the intuitive configuration of all measuring and reporting functions as well as the administration of several users with different authorisation rights.
The IP address for the RMS 200TH may be permanently assigned or acquired dynamically via DHCP server.
On reaching critical threshold values the RMS 200TH can trigger an alarm autonomously.
A trap is transmitted directly via SNMP to a network management console.
In smaller scale environments converting to SMS may be performed free of charge with the help of the software supplied.
This SMS may be sent via the Infratec SMS Alert Platform (www.sms-alert.biz) to any mobile telephone in the world.
Alternatively, the RMS 200TH can also e-mail directly.
The RMS 200TH can optionally record measuring data continuously and display the results in diagram form.

RMS 200 TH ist eine Überwachungseinheit für Räume und Rechenzentren, die mit Sensorik bestückt werden kann.
Bei dieser Variante besteht die Möglichkeit Temperatur und Feuchte zu überwachen und sich per Internet (http, dhcp) und SNMP wahlweise auch per Email und SMS über die kritischen Werte alarmieren zu lassen.
Das Gerät hat 4 Eingänge und kann wahlweise mit digitalen Feuchte-, Tempera- tur- oder auch Kombisensoren (Temp./Feuchte) bestückt werden.
Somit können bis zu 8 Werte (Temp./ Feuchte) gemessen werden.
Und das im Einsatzbereich mit einer Länge von 4m bis max.
24m durch Verlängerungskabel.
Das RMS 200 TH zeichnet sich durch seine kompakten Ausmaße aus und findet da- mit in jedem Schrank seinen Platz.
Über den integrierten Webserver lassen sich Messzustände abfragen und Grenzwerte definieren.
Selbstverständlich lässt sich das Gerät auch per SNMP managen, was eine Einbindung in bestehende Netzwerkmanagementsysteme ermöglicht, wodurch sich ein breites Anwen- dungsfeld öffnet.
